Nincsen Rozsa Tovis Nelkul, or translated to English "There is No Rose Without Thorns" was an original composition for Brass QUintet (2 Trumpets, Horn, Trombone and TUba) for the Royal Northern College of Music's annual Chamber Music festival. The work is heavily influenced by great Eastern European composers such as Bartok and Ligeti, with an almost folk music feel to much of the material used to construct this demanding work.
